Although he began his iconic career opening his first salon with his sister on Boston’s ultra-fashionable Newbury Street, it is in the Palm Beaches that Cosmo DiSchino secured his unparalleled reputation, opening Cosmo & Company in 1989 and making him one of downtown West Palm Beach’s true pioneers. His reputation as an amazing stylist who both listens to and intuits what is best for his clients is matched by his reputation as a salon owner dedicated to building a staff of the most talented stylists and colorists, and treating them as a family. His dedication to their individual successes has only added a richer flavor to the success of Cosmo & Company, where loyalty is simply a given. A man who works just as hard as any member of his staff, Cosmo’s work ethic is legendary. Kathy Silver | General Manager
For more than 20 years, Kathy Silver has worked in the salon industry to become the “guru” of impeccable customer service. It that capacity, every experience you have, from her enthusiastic yet professional “welcome” at the door to the moment the valet returns your car, is carefully choreographed for your comfort and convenience. Kathy keeps the salon organized, schedules appointments, focuses on both clients’ and employees’ needs, and constantly strives to make the “Cosmo & Company” experience even better. Kathy’s special talent is possessing the dedication and compassion for hard work while making it all look and feel like fun.
Nadia DiSchino-Yazinka | Assistant Salon Coordinator
Originally from Boston, Nadia DiSchino-Yazinka is a big city girl with a keen fashion sense, having worked in prestigious beauty salons on Boston’s notable Newbury Street after earning a degree in Human Development. Since joining the Cosmo & Company family in 2003, she handles a wide variety of responsibilities, from back-of-the-house organization, booking/scheduling, and marketing/advertising, to client hospitality and acting as a client resource when it comes to the myriad products offered at Cosmo & Company. She is well-versed in every product line and individual product, making her an invaluable resource for clients who need assistance in choosing the right hair and skin care products for their unique needs. “Beauty comes from within,” says Nadia. “We just echo what’s inside on the outside.”
Antonio Dorsa | Master Stylist
In the spring of 1970, Antonio Dorsa moved to New York from Italy, where he got his start in the beauty industry. He trained and worked with the legendary Vidal Sassoon in 1976 until he opened his own salon, where his artistry flourished for 17 years. After moving to Florida in the Nineties, Antonio found his home working with Cosmo, and has been a dedicated part of the team ever since. Antonio is an educator for Sorbie, Tony and Guy, Brocato International, and Sebastian, and his work has appeared in many editorial spreads, most notably for Italian Vogue and Modern Salon. His precise and innovative techniques have made him a renowned stylist in both New York and South Florida.
Melissa Peverini | Master Hair Designer and Colorist
Melissa Peverini is a master hair designer and colorist who can literally claim to be a stylist to the “Rich & Famous,” finessing the locks of Rod Stewart and wife Penny Lancaster, Paloma Picasso, Julia Koch, and Australian supermodel Kristy Hinze Clark, and driven to find that “sweet spot” of length, color tones, and movement that best suits her clients. Yet Melissa is more than just “celebrity” stylist; she’s an innovator, a resource, and a fashionista – and has been since picking up her first pair of scissors. Listed as the “Best Colorist in Palm Beach” by author and Today Show contributor Charla Krupp in her book, How Not to Look Old, Melissa is a brand educator and consultant for Wella and Goody; has done print styling for Vogue, Town & Country, and Ocean Drive; co-hosted an infomercial for Maxiglide; and created The Fringe Kit, the first at-home bang-trimming kit. Her latest endeavor is as the inventor of Versi Products and its first offering, the Versicomb, a replacement for the combs, brushes, teasers, and techniques necessary to recreate a fresh-from-the-salon look. After years of research, design, and testing, Versicomb makes salon-grade self-styling easy – and it works!
Oved Shetah | Full Stylist
Oved Shetah is an accomplished hairstylist and color specialist who has been in the business for over 30 years. Trained in London, Amsterdam, and New York, Oved has done hair backstage for the runways of a number of major designers and prestigious fashion magazines. He has been creating and implementing his original styles in West Palm Beach for over 18 years, a majority of those at Cosmo & Company.
Ingrid Perez | Full Stylist
Ingrid Perez is a third-generation hairstylist whose roots trace back to Costa Rica. Despite her exposure to the beauty industry growing up, she decided to go to college and study Sculpting and Fine Arts instead. And it is this foundation in the aesthetic arts that she regards as having priceless value in her success as a hairdresser. She believes that the key to a successful stylist/client relationship is communication: “A strong consultation will allow you to customize the work.” Whether she formulates your color, creates a custom haircut, relaxes unruly hair to a silky smooth texture, or fashions a trendy up-do for your special event, Ingrid’s passion and commitment to her clients’ happiness shines through.“I feel that my work is based on positive energy and healing through beauty.”
Vincent DiDomenico | Full Stylist
Vincent DiDomenico has been creating different looks for a diverse group of clients for the past 22 years. He specializes in different methods of color services, hair relaxers (including the Peter Coppola Keratin Hair Strengthening Treatment), and precision cutting. He created looks for an array of well-known local celebrities like news anchors Felicia Rodriguez and Lisa Hayward, to more widely known celebrities such as Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown, and Mary Tyler Moore. Vincent loves what he does, and it shows through his work. He looks forward to creating a completely new look for you.
Linda A. Nehrboss | Master Stylist and Colorist
Linda Nehrboss is a Master Stylist in haircutting and color techniques, with a background in Art... Keeping her clients’ looks fresh, modern, and fashionable, Linda trained with Vidal Sassoon Haircutting, Bumble and bumble NYC, and worked as a platform artist/educator for Paul Mitchell. Practicing excellence and luxury has propelled her into being a successful hairstylist, and Linda is highly capable of setting trends; coordinating fashion shows and photo shoots; is currently a member of the first "T.E.C.H. Team" for Kerastase in the U.S.; and educating salons and stylists in product knowledge, haircutting, and styling. Linda loves to dance, inspire, and have fun. She is also a certified ZUMBA Fitness Instructor.
Helen Wagmeister | Hair Designer
Helen Wagmeister honed her hairdressing skills both where she apprenticed in the U.K., and on this side of the pond in such places as Vidal Sassoon, Daniel Galvin, and the L’Oreal Color Institute. In addition, Helen trained with Bumble and bumble New York, Beth Minardi, TIGI, Chris Baran, and Redken. Yes, Helen apprenticed in England, where she grew up amongst the green valleys and rolling streams…but we digress. Back to the bio. Helen enjoys the art of hairdressing for up-styles, but encourages consultations whenever possible, and she loves preparing the hair fabric for chemical services with customized conditioning treatments from Kerastase. Whilst very confident in her abilities, Helen is not excited about using a title to describe herself. Preferring not to pigeonhole herself, she promises to be completely engaged in the process of discovering your unique look. “I love the human connection, the building of rapport, designing a style with feedback from my guest. It is the reason that after 25 years, hair remains my life’s work. Hair is an extension and expression of the individual; therefore it is down to my ability to connect with my guest, to draw out their likes and dislikes – resulting in a haircut or color representing their true self.”
Keela G. | Full Stylist
For over a decade, Keela G. has specialized in custom haircolor, color correction, French Balayage, long-layered and bob-shaped haircuts, “finishing work” such as bridal up-dos, and Great Lengths Extensions. She is certified by Great Lengths in both their Cold Fusion and Thermal extension applications, and Dual Certified in French Balayage. She received her broadly based continuing education from Vidal Sassoon, Bumble and bumble, Goldwell, L’Oreal Professional, Beth Minardi, Nick Arrojo, and most recently with Nancy Brun in French Balayage. Her work has appeared in Modern Salon and BE Magazines, and her initial training was at Bumble and bumble New York, and with Ken Paves in West Hollywood. A former Miss Florida USA, Keela got her start in the salon industry through the pageant industry with the Miss Universe Organization.
Keela’s signature trademark is “classic to modern with an interpretation of my client’s personal style. I feel it is tremendously important to understand that hair is not only an accessory to the client, but also an accessory to fashion.”
Melaney Strittmatter-Costa | Full Stylist
Melaney’s love and passion for the beauty business allows her to create styles that make people look, and most importantly feel, their inner best. She has traveled the world for education and also taught other professionals in her field. Her classic to trendy styles always keep evolving and stay current with the fashion industry. She’s fashion-forward all the way and her approach to hair techniques is modern with an artistic flare.
Mel’s cliché-cutting hair is like sculpting a work of art -- if Great Lengths extensions will help to create her masterpiece, she has many years experience learning from the people that began the company; coloring hair is like painting a picture. Nancy Pantaleo | Master Stylist and Color Specialist
With over 30 years of experience in hair design and beauty, Nancy has the passion and desire to make her clients feel their best. Her precision and excellence have earned her awards such as “Best Color” by Clairol Professional, and earned her training with Jesse & Flo Briggs. Awarded certification by Roy Peters, Nancy is a Color Specialist as well. Nancy is certified in chemical Keratin relaxing and thermal hair straightening. As a mentor and a teacher at her own salon before joining the family at Cosmo & Company, she developed a personal love for corrective coloring, highlights, lowlights, and color reformulations. There is no job too big or too small for her to handle.
Alexander P. | Master Hair Designer
Imported from Australia, Alexander served a four-year apprenticeship there, then trained all over the globe: London, Germany, Los Angeles, New York, and Miami. He specializes in cuts, haircolor, corrective color, chemical straightening; in short, all the chemical work you’d expect in a high-end salon like Cosmo & Company. He has worked with Gloria Estefan, Julio Iglesias, and Paloma Picasso, and considers every day at the salon his “continuing education.” His work has appeared in Australian Hairdressers Journal, and aside from his “Master of the Craft Award,” Alexander considers “lots of happy clients” an award he wins with some high frequency. As for his philosophy about beauty, he sums it up thusly: “It’s an inside job.”
Isabella Muschiev | Master Colorist
Isabella Muschiev has been a colorist for over 20 years, and no color or hair challenge is too difficult for this artist. She began her professional training in New York, where she also mastered Color Correction. Her artistry is truly personalized to every individual. She is always on top of current trends and techniques. "Communication between my client and I is the key to the perfect result," says Isabella. One of her biggest achievements was an invitation to train in Italy with the Interational Wella Team. Gisella Garcia | Full Stylist
Gisella Garcia’s passion for the beauty industry began long before her career did. Not only does she specialize in all hair straighteners and reconditioning treatments, she dedicates herself to ensuring her clients feel beautiful and truly enjoy their experience with her. Along with her talents as a hairstylist and colorist, Gigi has also been told that her hands are healing and therapeutic when she gives scalp massages. Brides have told her that her up-dos and makeup applications leave them “feeling like a Princess” on their special day.
Janesa Morera | Color Specialist
Born an artist, Janesa Morera always knew she would be successful in a field where she could express her creativity through the use of the aesthetics, symmetry, and balance of color. She specializes in all types of color techniques, especially the art of Balayage. Janesa has been thoroughly trained by Cosmo & Company’s Master Colorists Melissa Peverini and Ingrid Perez. Her mission is to provide her energetic and positive personality along with the best color services and latest techniques.
Dina Marchese | Master Colorist
Dina Marchese, a L'Oreal Color Expert, has been catering to clientele from Palm Beach to New York for the past 20 years. She is among the elite hair colorists who consult for many top fashion shows including Badgley Mischka, Nicole Miller, and Carolina Herrera. Dina is committed to her professional development and stays on the cutting edge by continuing her education in New York with the top L'Oreal educators. Johanna Sjoberg | Full Stylist
Johanna Sjoberg’s love for beauty and fashion inspires her to create beautiful hair. She first began cutting hair when she was old enough to wield a pair of scissors, with her first clients being her brother and her Barbies. Johanna has come a long way since her days travelling to Vidal Sassoon in London, as well as Frederic Fekkai and Tony & Guy in New York to educate herself in cutting and coloring techniques. Johanna also apprenticed under Cosmo & Company’s Master Colorist, Melissa Peverini, honing her skills first-hand. She cultivates a passion for teaching, and instructs her fellow colleagues in color theory and highlighting techniques, most recently in North Carolina. Johanna prides herself in consciously listening to her clients, understanding their desires, and creating a look that not only exceeds their expectations but maintains the integrity of their hair. “Every day, I get to make someone look and feel amazing. Emily Catullo | Junior Stylist
As a Junior Stylist at Cosmo & Company, Emily Catullo is mentored by experienced colorists and stylists Janesa Morera and most recently, Ingrid Perez. She is learning their "ways of color" through first-hand experience, and finding inspiration working wih them to grow into her own as a color specialist. Although she is begining her training by perfecting her beautiful blowdrys for clients, her main goal is to become one of the expert stylists at Cosmo & Company with her own chair.
Lily Dorsa | Medical Aesthetician|Advanced Permanent Makeup Specialist
Lily Dorsa is specialist in clinical therapeutic skincare, brow design, permanent makeup, and paramedical micropigmentation. A certified Medical Aesthetician, she is also a make-up artist, certified eyelash extensionist, and one of the top permanent make up technicians in the nation. Lily takes pride in using only top-of-the-line products and treatments for her services, such as Novalash© pharmaceutical-grade bonding for her precision lash application and hypo-allergenic vegetable-based pigments for her permanent make-up. She has worked with many different skincare lines and is one of the creators of the IS Clinical Facial, and has taken the company’s advanced trainings. She trained and certified in Italy for Dermophisiologique Organic Skin Care and became the first educator for the line in the USA, and received certification training as a hair transplant technician, laser hair removal technician, and has specialized training in microdermabrasion techniques and chemical peels. She worked in Manhattan for 25 years where she built a very impressive clientele of celebrities including Liza Minnelli, Glenn Close, Chita Rivera, Betty Buckley, and Alyssa Milano, to name a few. A native of Cuba, she has been in South Florida since the early Nineties, working closely with plastic surgeons and leaning to fuse a unique bond between medical aesthetics and beauty trends. Emily Hutchinson | Advanced Aesthetician
A Florida native, Emily Hutchinson loves doing facials, and has trained with Image Skincare, IS Clinical and PCA Skin in their product ranges and clinical-grade peels, as well as waxing, and microdermabrasion. She knew this was her calling when a friend and salon owner gave her the chance to apprentice in aesthetics in her salon to see if it was what Emily felt called to do. The rest is history, and Emily is totally committed to her career and to continuing her education in the aesthetics of skin and skincare, working closely with Lily Dorsa. “I believe beauty really IS skin deep,” Emily says.

Cosmo & Company's professional makeup artist Katherine MacDonald’s work in print, video, film, bridal and special occasion makeup, and airbrush makeup found her creating looks on a broad range of different skin textures, colors and complexion issues, so she knew there was a need for a professional line that was anti-aging and came in all skin tones. After three years of research and development, she’s created her own mineral-based natural cosmetics line, Luka Mineral Cosmetics, more elegant and well-formulated than the loose minerals on the market.

Amy Wilkes is a nail technician with over 11 years’ experience specializing in manicures, pedicures, acrylics, pink & whites, gels and the new Shellac and Gellish systems. She customizes each and every service for every client’s individual needs, and loves the industry. Amy says, “I love what I do because I enjoy making people feel great! Jill Mason | La Boutique Bellissima in Cosmo & Company
Jill Mason, a South Florida resident for over 30 years and wife of neurologist Dr. Irvine Mason, has curated a wonderfully eclectic boutique packed with elegant, glamorous, and fun creations in jewelry, accessories, and gift items drawn from both her travels in exotic locales (Rome, Istanbul, Athens, Paris, and London) and local hotspots (Miami, New York, and Las Vegas). “I try to capture fashion from different parts of the world that clients with exclusive taste will appreciate,” she says. “Some of our clients at Cosmo & Company like an ethnically traditional look from Israel or Bali, while others gravitate towards a sleek, couture look from New York or Milan, and some celebrate local artists' work.”
